• Purchase of fire-fighting backpacks within the Project "BSB00026 (Co-Resilience) Cooperation for strengthening the capacities of community resilience to forest fires and early warning in the Black Sea basin", funded by the European Commission (DG-ECHO) BSB00026 (Co-Resilience)
  The backpack will be executed in ergonomic construction that allows its quick dressing and adjustment according to the individual parameters of the body of the intervention personnel, as well as does not limit the movements of the user. The rucksack will be made of the following component parts: double-action hand pump, mouthpiece feed, hermetic cover, carry handle, straps, triple harness, water jet regulator, bottom outlet, feed mouth lock, closure for container replacement. Materials used in the construction of the rucksack that come into contact with the user's skin must not to cause irritation or illness. The construction of the rucksack shall allow its disassembly for technical maintenance, cleaning and washing of all its parts, including the use of washing/decontamination/disinfection agents. The base of the backpack (water tank) will be made of a single layer with the filling volume of not less than 20 liters of water and up to 25 liters, with robust fabric coated with yellow PVC for better visibility. The backpack will be equipped with a rubber hose with layered textile reinforcement, ending with a sealed manual pump, without loss of substance, with the possibility of adjusting the jet that can discharge the extinguishing agent over 10 meters with a compact jet or 5 meters with a sprayed jet, as well as with belts made of resistant material. The hand pump will be double acting with finishing the surface to ensure a very smooth stroke, and at the end it will be equipped with a metal nozzle to regulate the flow rate.
